A bit about me

  • I'm a native speaker in English and Spanish; born in Toronto, Canada and moved to Santiago, Chile when I was 8 years old.
  • In Chile, I worked for three years as a freelance private teacher while I was studying Translation and Interpreting. I worked with mostly students between the ages of 8 and 24.
  • In January 2008, I took a 4-week "Academic English" course in Sydney, Australia to improve my English writing skills.
  • In August 2008, I moved to Amsterdam, Netherlands.
  • In February and March 2009 I gave private Spanish lessons to an adult who was going to travel to Central America and needed basic knowledge to get around. I created a syllabus to work with and was able to reach an Elementary level.
  • In March 2009, I began working for an international call centre, I went through different positions, and the last being Assistant Manager from February 2010 until January 2011.
  • In February 2011, I moved to Munich, Germany and took a 4-week intensive Cambridge course: "Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages".
  • Today, I'm working as a freelance English and Spanish private teacher
